There will be a Scrum of Scrums (SoS) meeting for all the Lean | Agile teams in the Program. It will be once a week for 1 hour or twice a week for 30 minutes because of the number of teams. This meeting will be facilitated by the Agile Program Managers and attended by all Scrum Masters and other facilitators for the teams. If needed,Leads from other areas can join. Scrum Masters and facilitators can also bring team members as needed to the meeting.

Each Scrum Master/facilitator will update the group based on the following four questions:

  1. What has your team done since we last meeting?
  2. What will your team do before we meet again?
  3. Is anything slowing your team down or getting in their way?
  4. Are you about to put something in another team's way?

The Agile Program Manager will take notes based on all the updates/issues pertaining to the Teams, and follow up with the appropriate people offline:

The Agile Program Manager will also give updates based on the follow up action items from the last SoS meeting. Then the Agile Program Manager will review the dependencies to confirm the Big Room Plan is on track with the estimated release dates. The Agile Program Manager should also review the program metrics to cross check the teams are on track for delivering on their commitments. If impediments do exist and have not been resolved, the Agile Program Manager should immediately follow up on these impediments after the meeting with the appropriate people.

The input to the Scrum of Scrum meeting will be the Risk and Dependency Matrices generated from the Big Room Planning and Sprint Planning meetings. The Agile Program Manager should maintain the matrices in a centralize, online place for easy access and transparency.
